Vous pouvez aider à relancer le tourisme dans le nord d’Israël !
Une autre initiative pour aider Israël. Il ne suffit pas de verser une larme sur notre Etat ou de vilipender ses ennemis et ses détracteurs, il faut agir. On ne nous demande pas la charité, mais de dépenser en Israël l'argent que nous dépenserions ailleurs. C'est par la 'asiyah', l'action que la tradition juive se distingue des autres traditions. Ne l'oublions pas et mettons nos actes en conformité avec nos intentions et nos paroles. (Menahem Macina).

Le projet, appelé « l'esprit de la Galilée, » est une initiative conjointe de l'homme d'affaires, Avi Shaked, de la société Tikshuv et du Ministère du Développement du Néguev et de la Galilée.
Son but est de venir en aide à l'industrie hôtelière de la Galilée, qui a été durement affectée par les annulations des réservations de touristes, en raison des combats qui se déroulaient dans le nord du pays.
L'idée est unique. Plutôt que de faire appel à des dons, les hôtels de Galilée et les gîtes touristiques (lit+petit déjeuner) proposent aux touristes d’acquérir des bons pour tout séjour dans le nord jusqu'au 30 juin 2007. Ainsi, ce versement anticipé d'argent aux opérateurs contribuera à éviter un effondrement total de cette industrie, l'utilisation du bon pouvant être différée durant une période allant jusqu'à 11 mois.

Les parties concernées par le développement et l’application de ce projet, s’engagent à mettre à sa disposition tous leurs services et toutes leurs ressources, ont tenu à souligner les initiateurs du projet.
Avi Shaked a fourni le budget de fonctionnement de ce projet, tandis que la société Tikshuv qui, par ailleurs, met en oeuvre des centres d'appels au service d'autres compagnies, a contribué à la mise en oeuvre du centre d'appel pour activer une ligne téléphonique permanente concernant ce projet. L’entièreté du projet a le soutien du vice-Premier ministre Shimon Peres et du Ministère pour le développement du Néguev et de la Galilée, dont il a la responsabilité, et il est placé sous son contrôle.
Les touristes qui souhaitent participer à ce projet peuvent réserver des chambres à des prix s’échelonnant de 80 à 120 euros par nuit et par couple. Le paiement ira directement aux propriétaires d'hôtels ou de gîtes touristiques (lit+petit déjeuner), ce qui leur permettra de maintenir le cours normal de leurs affaires alors que le combat fait toujours rage à la frontière nord et que les roquettes et missiles continuent à tomber sur l'ensemble de la Galilée.

A new effort has been launched to rescue the floundering tourist industry in the North of Israel.
The project, called "The Galilee Spirit," is a joint volunteer effort of businessman Avi Shaked, the Tikshuv corporation and the Ministry for Negev and Galilee Development.
The project's goal is to help the Galilee hospitality industry, which has been disastrously affected by tourist cancellations due to the fighting in the North. The concept is unique. Rather than asking for donations, the Galilee hotel and bed-and-breakfast industry is selling vouchers good for any week-day stay in the North until June 30, 2007. So while the money will be paid to the operators immediately, helping to prevent a total collapse of the industry, the use of the voucher can be delayed for up to 11 months. All parties involved in developing and running the project are volunteering their services and resources, the project's initiators emphasized. Shaked supplied the operating budget, while the Tikshuv corporation, which operates call centers for other companies, has contributed the call center for the project's hot line. The whole project is managed and supported by Vice Premier Shimon Peres and the Ministry for Negev and Galilee Development that he heads. Tourists wishing to take part in the project can reserve rooms at either $80 or $120 per night for a couple. The payment will go directly to the hotel or bed-and-breakfast operators, allowing them to stay in business while fighting continues to rage on the northern border and rockets continue to fall throughout the Galilee.
